The Railway Kids – Mission Statement
Reach out to children and youth living on trains and railway stations in India and offer them:
- A place of safety
- Practical assistance
- Emotional support
- Encouragement
- Love
- Acceptance and the Hope of a better future.
Our Short Term Goals are
To establish a shelter near Agra Cantt Railway station. The shelter will offer a place of safety, assistance, support and where relationships and trust can be established between railway kids and LifeHouse workers.
The shelter will provide food, wash areas, lockers, practical assistance, informal education, creative classes, emotional, psychological and spiritual support. The children will be encouraged in their unique God given destiny and a case management program applied. A process will be mapped out how each child can reach their goals and full potential.
